What the company did
Mosaic was a strategic finance platform for FP&A (financial planning and analysis), founded by CEO Bijan Moallemi and a team of Palantir alumni and based in San Diego, California. It consolidated ERP, CRM, HRIS and billing data into real-time dashboards, budgeting, forecasting and scenario modeling, popular with fast-growing SaaS and technology companies. The company raised over $70 million — including a $25 million Series B led by Founders Fund (March 2022) and a $26 million round (June 2023). In February 2025 HR platform HiBob acquired Mosaic (terms undisclosed; reported at about $35 million), embedding its FP&A capabilities into HiBob's people management platform.
