What the company did
Pixelapse was a visual version-control and collaboration platform for designers — often described as 'GitHub for designers.' Founded in Palo Alto by Shravan Reddy and Min Ming Lo (a Y Combinator Winter 2012 company, also backed by Stanford's StartX), it powered the document backup, version control and collaboration needs of tens of thousands of freelance designers and creative teams, supporting 50+ file formats including Photoshop and Illustrator with annotation and visual-comparison tools.
