01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Borderless Money was a decentralized-finance protocol for social good, based in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, and founded by Pedro Ivo Bruder, Pedro Lombardo and Leandro Pereira. It billed itself as a 'DeFi protocol for the good': a non-custodial endowment-style protocol on Polygon where investors' principal stayed deposited while only the yields generated by DeFi strategies were distributed to social causes and organizations aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Contributors could withdraw their capital at any time. Its native governance token $BOM was used for voting on the platform. Current market data shows $BOM with no active exchange listings and near-zero trading volume, indicating the project is no longer active.
