01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Naytal was a London-based virtual women's health clinic founded in 2021 by Leila Thabet and Lara Russell-Jones. It offered on-demand one-to-one services with leading experts — midwife consultations, breastfeeding support, perinatal mental health support, pelvic-floor health and physiotherapy — supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postnatal recovery and menopause; it was the UK's first platform to offer dedicated perinatal psychologists. Launched in October 2021 with £300,000 in pre-seed funding led by Fuel Ventures, Naytal was acquired by Maven Clinic on March 20, 2023 (terms undisclosed); founder and CEO Leila Thabet joined Maven as Regional Vice President of Global Growth and Partnerships.
