What the company did
Silver Bullet Water Treatment, founded in 2011 in Golden, Colorado, built a chemical-free water treatment system based on an Advanced Oxidation Process: UV lamps and proprietary elements turned ambient air into a gas that, injected into water, tackled bacterial growth, scale, and corrosion in cooling towers, agriculture, and industrial applications. Installation took less than a day with no disruption to HVAC systems. In 2023 the company was acquired by Clear Comfort, a sister AOP water-treatment firm founded in 2014, to create a market leader in advanced water solutions.
