TaxScouts was a London-based digital tax filing company founded in 2017 by Estonians Mart Abramov and Kaupo Korv and Brit Daniel Karger, alumni of TransferWise, Skype and MarketInvoice. It offered accountant-assisted tax returns: customers submitted their information through the platform and a certified accountant prepared and filed the return — often within 24 hours in the UK — for a flat fee of £119. The company built a presence in the UK and Spain with over 150 tax accountants, offices in London, Madrid and Tallinn, and a 40-person team, holding a 4.8/5 TrustPilot rating.
