What the company did
Zillow is a Seattle-based online real estate marketplace. Its website and mobile apps let home buyers, sellers and renters browse property listings and view Zestimates, its widely used automated home-valuation estimates, alongside sale histories, tax records and rental data. Founded by Expedia veterans Rich Barton and Lloyd Frink, the company launched in 2006, went public in 2011 and grew through acquisitions including rival Trulia in 2015 to become one of the largest real estate media platforms in the United States.
