01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Inpher was a confidential computing company founded in 2016. It built privacy-preserving machine learning and analytics technology based on multi-party computation (MPC), letting organizations train models and analyze data while it stayed encrypted end to end. The research-driven company raised about $14 million from backers including JPMorgan and the Amazon Alexa Fund, and marketed its platform for confidential AI training and inference, private federated learning and large-scale encrypted data analysis. In November 2024 its core technology, team and patents were acquired by Arcium, a Solana-based confidential computing network.
