01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
AvairSense is a Bangalore AI hardware startup (originally OurEye.ai) founded by three SRM University students — Sourav Sanyal, Miran Junaidi and Saurabh Ghanekar. It started as business software that turned existing CCTV cameras into intelligent virtual auditors, analyzing video feeds in real time to monitor standard operating procedures (hygiene in restaurants, safety in factories). It then pivoted to home security, launching the Sense 1: a smart AI home camera with a privacy-focused PIR sensor that distinguishes people, pets and vehicles, plus two-way audio, night vision and WhatsApp alerts.
