01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Glider was a Portland-based startup founded in 2012 out of the TechStars Seattle accelerator. It built a SaaS product that brought structure and clarity to negotiating and signing sales and business contracts — replacing massive reply-all email threads and sprawling Excel trackers with a deal-flow dashboard for approvals, signatures and bottleneck reporting. The company raised $1.4 million in seed funding from True Ventures and TechStars, launched at Disrupt NY 2013, and was acquired by Dallas sales-software firm FPX in April 2014.
