What the company did

Caribou was a Miami-based fintech company building healthcare-cost planning software for financial advisors. Founded in 2020 by co-founders Christine Simone and Cory Blumenfeld with founding engineer Giorgio Delgado, its non-commissioned HealthPlanner platform analyzed a client's health conditions, insurance, medications and health plans to project current and future healthcare costs, helping advisors build holistic financial plans. It was named a 2024 T3 Technology Tools for Today Software All-Star and won Best Technology Providers: Specialized Planning Applications at WealthManagement.com's 2024 Industry Awards. In January 2025 it was acquired by Move Health, a healthcare insurance planning firm, with Simone joining Move Health's leadership team.
