What the company did

Beacon Platform was a New York-based fintech founded in 2014 by co-founder and CEO Kirat Singh. It sold enterprise risk analytics and developer infrastructure to investment and risk management teams: pre-built trading and risk applications plus a unified platform on which clients could build and scale custom analytics and models. Its cross-asset risk modeling was used by banks, investment managers, energy and commodities firms and alternative asset managers - including PIMCO and Blackstone - to optimize portfolios and operate in illiquid markets. In April 2025 it was acquired by Clearwater Analytics for approximately $560 million, with Singh becoming President of Risk & Performance at Clearwater.

   Clearwater Analytics (NYSE: CWAN) announced the acquisition of Beacon in March 2025 and completed it on April 30, 2025 for approximately $560 million - 60% cash and 40% Clearwater Class A shares. Beacon, which had $44 million in ARR at the end of 2024, was integrated into Clearwater's unified investment management platform.
