01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Sora (Honu HR, Inc., dba Sora) was a low-code intelligent workflow automation and data-integration tool for HR teams. It unified disparate business applications — HR, IT and other systems — letting non-technical HR staff build no-code workflows that automated employee onboarding communications, data collection and follow-ups. Founded in 2018 in San Francisco by CEO Laura Del Beccaro, it was backed by First Round Capital and angel investor Elad Gil, raised about $19.3 million in total, and counted Mixpanel as an early customer.
