01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Semper was a secondary liquidity platform for European startups, founded in 2021 in Berlin by Mathias Pastor and Balthazar de Lavergne, former directors at the French startup community The Family. It built the infrastructure and networks for companies to offer liquidity to team members and early investors — letting founders reward high-performing staff and angels while building a community of shareholders from their customer base. Since launching, Semper supported more than €10 million of secondary sales for European startups including Kry, Mano Mano and Voodoo.
