What the company did
SupplyShift was a Santa Cruz, California-based supply chain sustainability and responsible sourcing software company, founded in 2012. It built a supply chain network of more than 100,000 suppliers where buyers and suppliers engage and share information quickly to manage risk and facilitate supplier regulatory compliance - offering supply chain transparency, supplier mapping at any tier, data analytics, supplier scoring, and traceability. Its portal was used by customers across industries, from global retailers to Fortune 500 brands. Its last funding round was a $10 million Series B in December 2021 from Buoyant Ventures, HSBC, and Impact Engine. In January 2024 Sphera acquired SupplyShift (transaction closed January 9, 2024), making it a subsidiary of the Blackstone-owned ESG software firm.
