01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
EarthFast was a decentralized infrastructure protocol for managing compute infrastructure and workload orchestration on the blockchain. Its first product was a decentralized front-end hosting solution that let Web3 projects transfer the responsibility of updating, deploying, and hosting websites to on-chain entities such as DAOs or governance contracts — addressing content verification, availability, and latency problems of centralized front ends. The protocol used a governance token (EARTHFAST) for staking and voting, incentivized node operators through staking rewards, and settled compute payments in USDC. It raised a $1.4 million pre-seed round in September 2024 led by Nascent and The General Partnership, with Bodhi Ventures and angel investors Kain Warwick and Roneil Rumburg.
