What the company did
Installion was a Cologne, Germany-based B2B platform for the construction and energy industry, founded in 2019 by Till Pirnay and Florian Meyer-Delpho. It operated a digital matchmaking platform matching business clients with installers for solar PV, electricity storage and e-mobility charging installations, and from 2020 built its own network of 20 installation hubs across Germany to guarantee reliable installation capacity. The company served over 350 business clients representing roughly 70% of Germany's PV market and completed nearly 4,500 projects. In April 2023 it was acquired by Lichtblick, the German subsidiary of Eneco.
