Loopin HQ
The business, the turning points, and the decisions behind them.
01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Loopin HQ (founded April 2021 by college friends Anurag Varma, Parth Pareek and Mehul Dudi; Washington State) built a productivity platform to make meetings useful. It integrated with work apps to gather information scattered across meetings — decisions made, updates, action items — tagging tasks to meetings so context was easy to find and share. It later evolved into Loopin AI, an AI meeting assistant that recorded, transcribed and summarized meetings. It raised $820,000 in seed funding in July 2021 led by Venture Highway, and was pre-revenue, planning a freemium model from Q2 2023.
