01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Irrive was a New York social scrapbooking startup founded by Steven Cohn, whose previous startup BuyYourFriendADrink was acquired by LivingSocial in 2009. Irrive automatically organized content from networks like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Foursquare and Flickr into attractive virtual scrapbooks centered on life events — vacations, holidays, weddings, parties. Backed by $2 million in seed funding from angels including David Rosenblatt, Jeff Epstein and Konrad Felman, it entered private beta in May 2012 and launched publicly in September 2012. No failure event has been reported.
