What the company did
BlockGate was an Istanbul-based blockchain gaming startup founded in July 2022 by Fatih Yildirim. It developed blockchain-integrated mid-core mobile games - online multiplayer battle-royale titles in which players truly own in-game assets earned through skill - and produced ready-to-use infrastructure for blockchain-based games. Backed by pre-seed investors including Kalyon Ventures and Yildiz Tekno GSYO, it raised a total of about $500,000 before startup directories marked the company as closed and no longer active.
