01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

iBillionaire was a New York fintech startup founded in April 2013 by Raul Moreno. Its free mobile app democratized Wall Street by showing how top billionaire investors — Buffett, Soros, Icahn, Dalio and others — invest: it mined SEC 13F and Form 4 filings to surface portfolio moves, stock picks and real-time alerts, and let users build portfolios to compare against the billionaires. It also offered a B2B developer API with billionaire-strategy data, and licensed the iBillionaire Index to Direxion for the iBillionaire Index ETF (IBLN).
