01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Realms of Ethernity (RoE) was a blockchain play-to-earn MMORPG developed by Florida-based Blue Monster Games and built on Polygon. Styled as a World of Warcraft-like virtual world of quests, towns and dungeons, it let players buy land, boats and mounts, form clans and fight for loot — with the RETH governance token powering in-game utility, staking and DAO voting. It was pitched as a 'meta-metaverse' that would fold other games into its ecosystem.
