01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
iJigg (later Top440) was a San Francisco social-music site from Y Combinator's Summer 2007 batch, founded by brothers Bilal, Shadab and Zaid Farooqui. It was 'Digg for music': users voted on submitted singles using Digg-like voting, rated songs, embedded them on MySpace and found similar music fans.
