01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Pakible was a San Francisco custom-packaging platform founded in 2015 by Nick Carson, a member of the Y Combinator Winter 2015 batch. Its software made it 'insanely easy' to design, price and manufacture custom product packaging, with in-house automation, transparent pricing bids from a supplier network, and orders from 25 to 2,000 boxes shipped in under 10 days. Over 2,000 customers used Pakible, including Samsung, Reddit, Soylent, the Golden State Warriors, Uber and Twitter.
