01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Hutsy was a Toronto-born home-buying platform that promised to put home buying on autopilot: it streamlined property showings with on-demand virtual and physical tours through local agents, aiming to take the friction out of scheduling viewings and speed up decisions for buyers and renters. Founded by Rashid Aziz and Abhi CVK, it launched around 2018 and entered Y Combinator's Summer 2019 batch, and was operating coast to coast in the US. Its YC application is now listed as inactive.
