What the company did
The Edit LDN was a UK sneaker and streetwear marketplace founded in 2020 by Moses Rashid — a global online destination for pre-loved sneakers and high-end streetwear, shipping worldwide to a customer base ranging from average consumers to celebrities. It grew rapidly: a $4.8 million seed round in January 2023, a boutique at Harrods and a metaverse store in 2022. After running into cash-flow issues in late 2023, off-price fashion retailer BrandAlley UK acquired a majority stake on January 15, 2024, and The Edit LDN was restructured to operate within BrandAlley's infrastructure, with Rashid remaining CEO.
