01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Revelstoke was a San Jose-based cybersecurity startup founded in 2020 by CEO Bob Kruse (a 25-year cybersecurity veteran of Oracle, F5, FireEye and Obsidian). It built a 'next level' SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) platform on a patented Unified Data Layer that eliminated the need to code integrations, letting security teams automate analysis and incident response with a drag-and-drop playbook builder and pre-built integrations. It raised $38 million, including a $13 million-plus Series A (ClearSky, Crosslink, Rally) in January 2022 and a $20 million Series B co-led by SYN Ventures and ClearSky.
