T-REX Group, Inc. is a New York- and Tel Aviv-based financial SaaS company founded in 2012 by Israeli entrepreneur Benjamin Cohen (Benji Cohen) out of his experience running an energy markets division at Macquarie - where valuation models were built laboriously in giant Excel spreadsheets. Its cloud-native platform digitizes and analyzes financial data to model and manage complex asset-backed investments across private credit, structured credit, and project finance (deal structuring, cashflow modeling, scenario analysis, real-time performance tracking). Backers included Citi, the Westly Group, Viola FinTech, ClearSky, Macquarie Asset Management, and Riverstone Holdings, which led a $40M Series C in January 2022 and added T-REX to its Decarbonization Growth Equity platform. On April 24, 2024, T-REX was acquired by FINSIGHT Group to drive next-generation cashflow analytics for global private credit and structured finance.
