01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

TweetBackup was a Cambridge, Massachusetts startup founded in 2008, offering an online tool that automatically backed up Twitter accounts. Users authorized the app once and received daily backups of their tweets (up to Twitter's 3,200-tweet limit) plus their following lists, exportable as CSV, RSS, text or HTML — a spin-off of the cloud-backup service Backupify. In 2010 TweetBackup was acquired by Backupify, which later became part of Datto.
