What the company did
SydeLabs is an AI security and risk management startup founded in 2023 by Ruchir Patwa and Ankita Kumari, built to make AI applications safe, secure, and resistant to abuse. It helps enterprises and AI companies identify vulnerabilities in their generative AI models and applications, with real-time protection against attacks and compliance before production. Its product suite includes SydeBox (red-teaming for stress-testing AI apps and models), SydeGuard (real-time intent-based firewall), and SydeComply (AI compliance). Since SydeBox's launch on March 1, 2024, it was adopted by over 15 enterprises, detecting more than 10,000 vulnerabilities across 50+ applications and models. In 2024 it raised a $2.5 million seed round led by RTP Global, with Picus Capital and angel investors. No failure event for the company was found.
