01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Cardinal (Cardinal Web, Inc.) was an AI-powered product backlog platform founded in January 2023 in Austin, Texas by Nadav 'Wiz' Weizmann and Mor Sela, who had led product and engineering at Epic Games and Houseparty. It participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2023 batch, building a 'system of record for product teams': software that aggregated customer feedback, CRM data and task-management issues, then used AI to quantify which features represented the most revenue opportunity and to define strategies with live data and KPIs. In May 2024, about 18 months after founding, it was acquired by Miro; the product was rebranded 'Miro Insights' (insights.miro.com) and absorbed into Miro's platform, with Weizmann joining Miro as VP of Product focused on insights and innovation.
