What the company did

Tilly (Tilly Design) was a US virtual landscape design service led by CEO Alexis Sutton that created custom landscape design plans for homeowners and landscape contractors entirely online. Each project was crafted by a US-based designer with residential-design experience and local plant expertise: scaled planting plans with region-specific trees, plants and flowers, hardscape elements like pools, pergolas, walkways and driveways, detailed shopping lists with quantities and sizes, inspiration images, landscape lighting plans and optional 3D add-ons, typically delivered in two to four weeks. It also ran a PRO network for design fulfillment and installation. In August 2024 it was acquired by Bower & Branch (EdenGrene), an online marketplace where independent growers sell trees and plants direct to consumers; by December 2024 the integration was complete with the launch of the Bower & Branch Design Studio, retaining Tilly's process and team under the Bower & Branch brand.
