01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Enfabrica is a Silicon Valley semiconductor startup building high-performance networking chips for AI data centers. Founded in 2020 by CEO Rochan Sankar and CDO Shrijeet Mukherjee (executives from Broadcom and Google), its Accelerated Compute Fabric (ACF-S) SuperNIC — a 3.2 Terabit/second device — creates a 'hub and spokes' network so GPUs are fed data fast enough to stay busy, letting the same compute be done with about half as many GPUs.
