01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Rose Health was a digital mental health platform spun out of Johns Hopkins University, founded in 2018 by former healthcare investment banker Kavi Misri after his own experience with burnout and depression. Its HIPAA-compliant platform combined a patient mobile app with a provider dashboard, using patented AI and natural language processing to detect markers of depression and mood disorders in speech and responses, producing a 'Rose score' as a mental health credit score. The company raised seed funding, won the 2022 Cambia Grove TRAILS startup competition and piloted an employer mental-health benefit program.
