01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Cosmology was a development platform for the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem. It built tools that simplified the development of decentralized applications (dApps) on the Cosmos network - an open-source, decentralized network of independent, parallel blockchains that interoperate via the Interchain Protocol - most notably Telescope and Cosmos Kit. By making dApp development more accessible, it aimed to drive Web3 innovation. In March 2024 it secured $5 million in seed funding led by Galileo and Lemniscap, with backing from Dispersion, HashKey, Tuesday Capital, Osmosis Foundation, Chorus One, and Informal Systems.
