01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Good Therapeutics was a Seattle-based biopharmaceutical company developing a new class of conditionally active therapeutics. Its regulated, context-dependent molecules combined an antibody sensor directed against a specific marker with a therapeutic component that became active only when the sensor bound its target. The lead program was a PD-1-regulated IL-2 therapeutic for immuno-oncology. The company was founded by John Mulligan and raised about $30.2 million in venture funding.
