01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Felt (formerly Mine'd) was an emotional-wellness startup co-founded by CEO Aaron Albert. It built an AI-driven platform that matched individuals with therapists using natural language processing and machine learning — analyzing communication styles, personality traits, and shared values to predict compatibility — initially as a consumer app. In March 2024, Journey — an employee-focused mental-health company offering an employee assistance program used by Walgreens and Universal Music Group — acquired Felt to integrate its matching technology into Journey's backend product.
