01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
FinDox was an El Segundo, California-based fintech founded in 2016 by Tejs Broberg (previously of LendAmend, acquired by FIS). It built a workflow management and data platform for financial professionals: confidential document aggregation, restricted-list automation, and regulatory reporting for private credit markets in the US and Europe — including an automated insider-trading management platform. Its repository held 3+ million confidential investment documents from ~25,000 deals behind a compliance meta-layer. Backed by Aquiline Capital Partners, Nucleus Adventure Capital, OAK'S LAB, and TCA Venture Group ($9.1M raised per PitchBook), FinDox was acquired by Reorg (now Octus Intelligence) on November 9, 2022.
