01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Stackshine was a San Francisco SaaS spend management startup in Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch. Its platform gave IT teams visibility into every software application used across the organization - approved or not - including who used it, how much, and what it cost, then automated provisioning and deprovisioning (one-click onboarding, offboarding without security gaps) using AI. In August 2023 Stackshine was acquired by Atlanta-based LeaseQuery, a lease-accounting software company founded in 2011 by George Azih, to help clients rein in out-of-control SaaS spending; the financial terms were not disclosed.
