What the company did
MonkeyBit is a Web3 social gaming ecosystem founded in 2023 and based in Singapore, led by founder and managing director Jaykishan Lathigara. It builds a decentralized platform integrating play-and-earn, PVP gaming and GameFi elements, aiming to offer a fair and transparent on-chain social entertainment experience. In July 2024 MonkeyBit announced a $2 million seed round led by 3KBTC Capital with participation from Hongyi Labs, and ecosystem collaborations with Polygon, OKX, Bitget, AlienX, Foresight Ventures and others. No shutdown, bankruptcy or acquisition has been reported.
